Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BeeWell ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including clients seeking therapy services and therapists offering their services through the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Definitions

"Platform"
The BeeWell website, mobile applications, and all related services.
"User"
Any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Clients and Therapists.
"Client"
A user who seeks or books therapy services through the Platform.
"Therapist"
A qualified mental health professional who offers therapy services through the Platform.
"Services"
The therapy sessions and related services provided by Therapists to Clients through the Platform.

User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3.4 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Terms for Therapists

4.1 Qualifications

Therapists must hold valid professional qualifications and memberships with recognised accreditation bodies in Ireland. All qualifications are subject to verification by BeeWell.

4.2 Independent Contractors

Therapists are independent contractors, not employees of BeeWell. Therapists are solely responsible for the Services they provide, including compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.

4.3 Professional Standards

Therapists agree to maintain appropriate professional liability insurance, adhere to their accreditation body's code of ethics, and comply with all applicable laws regarding the provision of therapy services.

4.4 Pricing

Therapists set their own session prices. BeeWell may charge a service fee as outlined in the Therapist Agreement. All fees will be clearly communicated before you join the Platform.

Terms for Clients

5.1 No Emergency Services

The Platform is not designed for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact emergency services (999/112) or visit our emergency resources page.

5.2 Therapist Selection

Clients are responsible for selecting their own Therapist. While BeeWell verifies Therapist qualifications, we do not recommend or endorse specific Therapists. Reviews on the Platform reflect the opinions of individual users.

5.3 Therapeutic Relationship

The therapeutic relationship is between you and your chosen Therapist. BeeWell is not a party to this relationship and is not responsible for the outcomes of therapy.

5.4 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate information to your Therapist and to engage honestly in the therapeutic process.

Payments & Cancellations

6.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. BeeWell does not store your payment card details.

6.2 Session Fees

Payment is required at the time of booking. Session fees are set by individual Therapists and displayed clearly before booking.

6.3 Cancellation Policy

Each Therapist sets their own cancellation policy, which is displayed on their profile. Please review the cancellation policy before booking. Refunds are subject to the Therapist's policy.

6.4 Disputes

If you have a dispute regarding a payment or session, please contact us at support@beewell.today. We will work with you and the Therapist to resolve the issue fairly.

Limitation of Liability

7.1 Platform Role

BeeWell provides a platform to connect Clients with Therapists. We are not a healthcare provider and do not provide therapy services. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the Services provided by Therapists.

7.2 No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7.3 Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeeWell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or Services.

General Terms

8.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

8.2 Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and BeeWell regarding the use of the Platform and supersede any prior agreements.
